Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes Day – Newbury Racecourse – Saturday 17 May

The highlight of Newbury’s Flat season is the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes, a one-mile race that is part of the QIPCO British Champions Series, along with the London Gold Cup.

The Lockinge Stakes, famously won by Frankel in 2012, is the first Group 1 contest over a mile for four-year-olds and older. You can expect top-tier Flat racing and plenty of wonderful entertainment and attractions off the track as well.
