Cricket At Headingley
Headingley Cricket Ground, the home of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, is renowned for producing, exciting, unpredictable cricket with a great atmosphere to match. Who can forget the match winning innings played by Ben Stokes against Australia in 2019 or the fantastic win against India in 2021, with captain Joe Root’s great hundred.
Cricket fans can look forward to seeing a host of exciting fixtures for 2022, including the deciding Test Match against World Champions New Zealand from 23 – 27 June as well as an ODI against South Africa on Sunday 24 July. The Yorkshire Vikings and Northern Superchargers will also be in action in the Vitality Blast and Hundred respectively with fixtures to be announced soon.
