Crystal Cup Velka Pardubicka Tour

We are delighted to be able to offer the Crystal Cup Series and the Velka Pardubicka is without doubt, one of the highlights of the season.

The Velka Pardubicka is the oldest cross country race on the continent and is run in Pardubice, Czech Republic.

The first race was held in 1874 and is a true test of stamina, jumping and horsemanship with the race run over 6,900 metres (just over 4 miles) and requiring to overcome 31 varied obstacles including the infamous Taxis Ditch.

Renowned for its historical architecture and classical music, its a culture vultures dream.

Prague is also home to many, many coffee houses, restaurants and bars offering opportunities to enjoy the friendly hospitality and excellent beer.

The Velka Pardubicka meeting is attended by over 30,000 spectators and creates a fantastic atmosphere and definitely one to tick off your bucket list.

• Transfer to hotel of choice in Prague for a three-night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
• Afternoon at leisure exploring the beautiful city of Prague. A stroll around Old Town is a popular choice on the first afternoon.

Saturday 11th October

• Breakfast at Hotel.
• Day at leisure exploring the beautiful city of Prague.
• Meal, drinks and music at Central Prague Restaurant – Traditional Czech Entertainment with a 5 course banquet and free flowing wine and beer.

Sunday 12th October

• Breakfast at Hotel.
• Pick Up from Hotel to Pardubice Racecourse.
• Race day including the famous Velka Pardubicka Race. This race meeting is like no other with a huge enthusiastic crowd giving the day an electric and friendly atmosphere!
• Coach back to Prague for the evening.

Monday 13th October

• Breakfast at Hotel.
• Final opportunity to explore Prague before heading to the airport.
• Transfers to Airport.
