The AR Events Team was present at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards at ExCel, London on 16th December. The company which was appointed as ‘nominated agency’ for the event was responsible for selling over 650 corporate packages for the unforgettable evening.
Guests dined in the Capital Hall prior to the show before watching a galaxy of stars appear in front of a ‘sold out’ crowd of 16,000 for the awards ceremony. The Duchess of Cambridge presented the famous trophy to the winner, cycling’s Bradley Wiggins, with other highlights including Usain Bolt claiming the Overseas Personality of the Year, the GB Olympic and Paralympic Team winning the Team of the Year and London 2012 supremo Lord Coe collecting the Lifetime Achievement Award. After the ceremony corporate guests and the sporting celebrities partied into the small hours with Bradley Wiggins taking part in an impromtu jamming session with the party band.
